JDA employees to hold 3-day Dharna from August 8

JAMMU: JDA Employees Union on Saturday decided to go for a three days Dharna starting from August 8, 2017 outside office of Vice Chairman JDA to highlight it demands.
The decision to this effect was taken in a meeting held under the chairmanship of President JDA Employees Union Ashok Singh Jamwal. The meeting discussed threadbare the issues and demands including appointment of beneficiaries of deceased employees of JDA under SRO 43, relaxation in age and qualification in cases of daily wagers, consolidated and Safaikaramcharis, grades to the helpers who have passed the eligibility test, stopping of encroachment and demarcation of the land transferred to JDA as per the directions of High Court, etc.
