SAMBA: A jawan died on the spot while his two colleagues received injuries when thunder lightening struck on Friday night. The deceased jawan has been identified as Sepoy Jai Paul, resident of Kullu, Himachel Pradesh while the injured have been identified as Naik Raj Kumar, resident of Meerpur, Kathua and Naik Anil Kumar from Pathankot.
All three army men were posted with 5 JAK and were on duty at Zero Point near Abtal Post in Ramgarh sector. They were rushed to Military Hospital, Satwari, Jammu where Jai Paul was declared as brought dead while two soldiers were admitted for further treatment.
