JAMMU: University of Jammu (JU) on Friday announced its team for participation in the North Zone Inter-university (women) Hockey Tournament to be held at Maharishi Dayanand University (MDU), Rohtak from 22nd to 27th December.
Accompanied by Ruchika Sharma and Charanjit Singh as coach and manager respectively, the selected team shall depart for the venue on Saturday.
Earlier, the team interacted with Director Sports and Physical Education, Prof. Dhian Singh Bhau. The Director was briefed about the prospects of the team by Hockey Coach, P.D Singh, who supervised the fortnight long coaching camp of the selected probables.
The Team: Prabhleen Kour, (Captain), Pallvi Sharma (Vice Captain), Manu Singh Pawar, Priya Choudhary, Rupali Sharma, Neha Malhotra, Minakshi Khajuria, Ruksana Akhtar, Manpreet Kour, Aiena Sharma, Barkha Sharma, Vandana Sharma, Sonika Sharma, Anjali, Nidha Rashid and Nahida Nabi.
