Jammu suffering ‘bias’ during BJP-PDP Govt: Bhalla

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: Former Minister and senior Congress leader Raman Bhalla on Sunday dared Coalition Government to show progress in any of the sectors since they are ruling in J and K other than discrimination, betrayal and cheating people of Jammu region.
Addressing gathering at Rampura Ward No 23 as part of his mass contact programme, Bhalla vigorously highlight issues of non-governance, non-performance, regional bias, lack of accountability and transparency and poor government deliverance with an utter failure on its part to address the genuine aspirations of the people of Jammu region.
Bhalla said that some of the main roads are in very bad condition like Rampura and Nai Basti link roads.
“The authorities though blame worst condition of roads to digging by ERA and other agencies for laying sewerage and cables etc but the Public Works Department (PWD) has failed to repair these roads also where no digging was being done by ERA or any other agency and which were damaged due to monsoon and winter rains,” Bhalla stated.
Taking cognizance of continuous discrimination in employment sector by neglecting highly educated youth of Jammu region, Bhalla said time has come for youth of Jammu region to launch aggressive agitation for seeking their right and justice in employment.
Lashing out at BJP, he said that selection lists issued during BJP-PDP rule are totally biased as 90 per cent jobs have been provided to Kashmiri youth and Jammu youth get only 10 per cent share in government jobs.
Among those present on the occasion include Ward President Vijay Choudhary, Dr Bahu Ram Gupta, Billa Choudhary, Anil Sharma, Dharampal Sharma, Dawraka Nath, Inderpal Choudhary, Satish Kumar, Vipan Singh, Hussain Mohammad and Babbu.
