KATHUA: Jammu Sanskriti School Kathua celebrated Red Day on Thursday. All the children and staff were dressed up in red dresses and decorated their class rooms with red coloured articles. Children brought red colour eatables and enjoyed.

Principal, Shuchita Gupta said basically motive of celebrating Red Day is to make the children aware of the significance of various colours as today is the red day, children were asked these type of question what does red remind us then children replied  it reminds us about blood now everyone knows blood is important for lives of human and animals. So we should not shed blood we should not fight, rather we should donate blood whenever someone needs it. Another thing which comes in mind is Water Melon, Carrot, Cherries, and Strawberry so when these things are asked to children they are made to think about this. This helps the children to know about the value and importance of everything in their lives. In this way we will celebrate various colours.
