JAMMU: To make this Teachers’ Day extremely successful, Jammu Sahodaya Schools Complex (JSSC) organized a picnic for the Principals of Jammu, Samba, Kathua & Udhampur at Skyview by Empyrean, Patnitop.
The contingent of Principals comprised Rajesh Rathore, President, JSSC & Principal, JK Public School, Kunjwani; Dr. Deep Khare, Principal, Jodhamal Public School, Jammu; KCS Mehta, Academic Director & Principal, IDPS, Akhnoor; Rohini Aima, Vice Chairperson & Principal, Jammu Sanskriti School Jammu; Sanjeev Pradhan, Principal, APS Samba; KL Dogra, Principal, MV International School, Samba; Puneet Kour, Principal, APS Jammu Cantt; Anil Pathania, Principal, RMG International School, Akhnoor; Ranju Malhotra, Principal, DBN Vidya Mandir, Amarvilla; Rama Jamwal, Principal, Stephens International Public School, Jammu; Seema Sambyal, Principal, Holy Presentation Convent School, Kathua; & Neetu Gupta, Principal, SNS Vidya Mandir along with the spouses of some of the Principals.

Ambience of the place is simply unforgettable. This destination is equipped with Ropeway, which enjoys the privilege of being the highest ropeway of the country. Thrill of the Ropeway ride was writ large on every face, when we got down from the gondolas”, reflected Dr. Deep Khare, Principal, Jodhamal Public School, Jammu.
The Skyview staff also arranged a mike & speakers for conducting a musical session for the Principals. Songs exhibited a wide spectrum from old to new & covered a diversified range from variety languages, namely, Hindi, English, Punjabi & Dogri. KCS Mehta, Mentor, Jammu Sahodaya, an extremely talented singer from the contingent enthralled the audience with his Punjabi number “Chhalla”. Puneet Kour mesmerized the audience with her mellifluous singing. Rama Jamwal sang a song in Dogri and transported the spectators to the contextual location of the song. Rajesh Rathore, a die-hard Kishore Kumar fan sang a few numbers and paid a rich tribute to the versatile genius.
The fun-loving intellectual community preferred trekking on the vast stretch of grassland on the hilltop rather keeping them indoors in the aesthetically designed air-conditioned Skyview restaurant, named, “Banana Leaf”. Finding their way amidst green meadows with winding paths, the Principals traversed the terrain in crest and trough. For commemorating these outdoor explorations of the meadows, they got the complete journey recorded through their high resolution cameras. As a parting souvenir of gratitude for visiting the Skyview Resort at Patnitop, each Principal was gifted a flag with a lovely message inscribed on that.
President Jammu Sahodaya Rajesh Rathore lauded the wonderful hospitality of the Skyview Resort. He appreciated the utmost care shown by the members of the Management team, namely, Ali Jafari, Dinesh & Divya. All the Principals left the green acres with cherishing memories.
