SAMBA: Jammu Kings (Border Line Club Palanwala) emerging as overall winner by defeating BD Bari Jaguars in the final of Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League (JHPVL) concluded here.
A total of 64 teams participated in the month-long competition.
In the fiercely contested final match, Jammu Kings beat BD Bari Jaguars. Arun Singh playing for Jammu Kings turned out to be the best player of the tournament who was given Rs 5,000 as a cash prize whereas Rohit Sharma was declared Man of the Match who got Rs 1500.
The winning Jammu Kings comprised of Arun Singh (c), Ranjeet Singh, Sanjay Singh, Vishal Singh, Sunil Singh, Yudhveer Singh, Nasib Singh, Mohan Singh, Sahil Kumar and Rohit Sharma.
The coach of the team, Master Puran Singh congratulated the winner team.
