Jammu & Kashmir Labour Awami Movement launched

JAMMU: For the well-being of labour class people of Jammu and Kashmir State, different unions of the State passed a resolution to work under one umbrella in the name and style Jammu and Kashmir Labour Awami Movement (JKLAM). This was stated by President JKLAM, Kuldeep Chalotra in a press conference here on Thursday.
“After 70 years of independence the sufferings of the labourers in the State are rising day by day,” he said adding that for fighting for their rights JKLAM was formed which will work for the their uplift so that their living condition is improved.
The organisations which will work under JKLAM included Banihal Construction Works Union, Dogra Labour Union, Mazdoor Dastkar Union Jammu, All J and K Joint Workers and Labour Union, J and K Awami Labour Movement, Mazdoor/Mistri Workers Union Jammu, Handicraft Workers Union, Kashmir, Samidhan NGO Jammu, General Labours and Other Construction Workers Trade Union, Baramulla, Marbal Union, Jammu, State Center Union Jammu, Auto Repair Workers Union Jammu, Boot/Chappan Leather Union, Jammu, Workshop Union Jammu, Industries State Workers Jammu and Transport Nagar Welfare Association.
Others present in the press conference included Shashi, Nar Singh, Ram Bachan Rao, Chuni Lal, Bhoomi and Bishambar Dass.
