Jammu District Tennis Ball Cricket C’ship concludes

JAMMU: The Jammu District Tennis ball Cricket Championship concluded on Friday at M.A. Stadium in Jammu. Kavinder Gupta, the Ex-Deputy Chief Minister of J&K, graced the concluding ceremony as the Chief Guest and distributed trophies and mementos to the participating teams and officials. The championship saw the participation of over 30 teams from the Jammu District, with nearly 300 players actively competing. In the senior category, Chinore Club emerged victorious, defeating KCIS by 11 runs. In another senior match, KCPS won against Shourya Kings by 23 runs. In the Under-17 category, KCPS girls secured the finals, while in the Under-14 category, IDPS triumphed over Mount Litera Zee School by 7 wickets. The event was organized by the District Jammu Tennisball Cricket Association under the supervision of President B. Tickoo and General Secretary Gulshan Rattan, along with officials Jitender Sarangal, Ravi Thakur, Arun Rattan, Sunny Baba, Tahir Kartik Sharma, and Hardeep Singh.
