Jammu is bridge between Kashmir and India, no more discrimination

AKHNOOR : Intensifying his electioneering in Akhnoor, Sham Sharma, Senior Congress Leader, Minister for PHE, Irrigation and Flood Control, launched his frontal attack on all those who talk about Kashmiri grievances but observe criminal silence on last 67 years of injustice and discrimination with Jammu region.
Addressing huge election meeting at Maira and Muthi he stated that mindset of ruling elites old or new have to change by the people of Jammu with massive mandate in favour of such political forces which stand for their better future Congress has categorically pledged to provide Regional Development Councils for equitable development and reservation for IB residents, package to Chhamb DPs/POJK refugees, he stressed that Jammu must vote for Congress to emerge as sole guardian of their interests.
Exhorting Akhnoor people to vote him as their representative third time on the basis of his 12 year’s performance, Sharma claimed all round development in the Constituency in every sector to develop on priority the infrastructure, the requisites for further development in planned manner. He further said his vision for Model Akhnoor Constituency could only be materialised in next six years if people return him to the Assembly with thumping majority.
He also said that his efforts to get administrative units for Chowki Choura as Sub District, Mandria and Jourian as Tehsils, Niabats for Devipur, Bhalwal Brahmana, Kathar, Maira Mandrian, Rah Salyote, Ghar Majoor are just beginning for transformation of backward and neglected areas of Akhnoor.
Amidst slogans, Sham Lal Sharma assured them his continuous selfless services and said,”you give me your vote, I will give you Model Akhnoor”, which would be one of the beautiful constituency in the State, crime free, developed enjoying all civic amenities. Replying to some educated youth who expressed their concern for Jammu, Sharma asked the youth to join hands to fight for their justice as he while in government pressed always for their demands. He cautioned them to remain vigilant against the politicians bargaining Jammu interests to secure their future in Kashmir Valley because they have softened their stand on Article 370. He appealed to the voters to vote and support him making judicious use of the right to franchise.
