JAMMU: Beginning of New Session is always an auspicious time – a time for new hopes and renewed energies.
The new academic session at JK Public School (JKPS) Panjtirthi commenced with much enthusiasm on April 4, 2025.
A special assembly on the first day of the Academic session 2025- 26 was organised with sanctity and fervour.
A warm welcome was accorded by the Principal of JKPS Panjtirthi, Suman Banbah to the new admission, old students and all the faculty members.
The programme commenced with Saraswati Vandana to seek blessings from the Almighty for a pure and pristine commencement of the session.
The staff and students pledged to realign to the core values and principles of JKPS Panjtirthi.
JKPS is a school with difference as this is the only institution where academics, physical activities, literary activities, cultural activities, and co-curricular activities go hand in hand.
The coaches of JKPS raised the spirit of the occasion in a grand way by demonstrating different activities like Yoga, Taekwondo, karate , aerobics, guitar and skating. Their performances motivated and entertained the audience. Jakiians enthralled the audience with various dance performances. Few Jakiians exhibited their exceptional talents. The staff members also entertained the audience with their singing talent. Everyone seemed joyful, motivated, engrossed and connected with each other.
The Principal further wished, “May the upcoming session be full of new achievements, learnings, discovering new things and great accomplishments. let the magic of love brighten our smiles and enlighten our souls.”
She thanked the faculty members and expressed, “I heartily thank all of you for your selfless and devoted services which has helped in keeping our School flag high”.
She concluded her words by saying, “The march is on for JKPS and the mission is to carry forward our noble endeavour of overall development of child, with stress on quality education and moral values”.
The Principal awarded Navya Sharma of class 4th with the title of the best dancer of the year.
She had won the prize for the best dancer of J&K in the Mega dance and fancy dress competition organised by Acharya Academy for dance and Aerobics and she is the winner of National Performing Arts Dance Championship 2024 organised at Shri Ram auditorium, Ayodhya.
