Led by SP Crime Rakesh Jolly, three police teams of crime branch, Deputy SP city and Deputy SP New Mandi, will trace the culprits of murder of the Chief Jail Warden, SSP H N Singh told reporters here today.
No arrests have been made so far in the case but a search is on for the assailants, Singh added.
Meanwhile, IG Meerut zone Alok Sharma issued directions for the immediate arrest of the accused.
Chief Warden of district jail, Chunnilal (50) was gunned down near district jail by unidentified miscreants when he was returning home from work on the night of December 12.
