Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League phase-1 gets underway

JAMMU: Around 30 matches were played on the third day of phase-1 of Jagruk Hindustani Premier Volleyball League at eight different venues of Damana, Sunjawan, RS Pura, Bari Brahmana, Samba, Rajpura, Kathua and Janglot.
In the matches played today, S Kalan, Samba, Rajpura, Golpattan Rattans, Pargawal Panthers, Molu Monsters, Dehichak Dragon, Janial 1, Mukundpur 2, Khalsa Club, Mela Club, Kharote Club, Harkeet Club, JBC, Kahulpur, Alla, Salehar, Badyal beat Raiyan, Pangdhor, Katli Gho Manhasan Guirellas, Damana Daredevils, Gajamsu Tigers, Makwal Mustangs, Janial 2, Mukundpur 1, Morning Walk Club, Ganesh Memorial Club, Basoli, Degree College Kathua, Government Senior Secondary School Ramgarh, Sarwa, Shekhanchak, Suchetgarh in straight sets respectively.
Regal defeated Deani and Jatwal, Mela Club beat Morning Walk Club, Khalsa Club outplayed Ganesh Memorial Club, Jai Baba Sidhghoria trounced Khaur, Fathuchak beat Arnia, Pindi Camp downed Barota Camp, Pallawala defeated Purmandal, Jammu University defeated Kallu Chak, BD Bari beat MAM Stadium, Sadyal Youth defeated Ratnuchak, Heera Nagar outplayed Lower Mela and Upper Mela blanked Gurah Mundya.
“The phase one of this competition will terminate on 25th April 2016 wherein the best teams will be selected for participation in Phase two of the competition,” Defence Spokesperson Lt Col Manish Mehta said.
