JAMMU: “Kindness is the Language, the deaf can hear and blind can see”. Such powerful statement from Japkaran Singh from Grade 3rd Falcon created the requisite momentum during the morning Assembly at JK Public School, Kunjwani.

Kindness in your smile!”, he added. Vaidehi shared the thought of the day, “A simple smile, a helping hand, a kind word can make a big difference. Let’s spread love and positivity one act of kindness at a time”.

Ikjot Singh presented an extremely thought provoking and inspiring poem composed by Haley O’connor
I can choose to be kind
Each and every day.
I can choose to be kind
To everyone, in every way.
When I’m kind to others,
I make the world a little brighter.
When I’m kind to others,
I make my heart a little lighter.
So plant a seed of kindness
And watch the world bloom.
So plant a seed of kindness,
We’ll chase away the gloom.
Principal JKPS Kunjwani Rajesh Rathore appreciated the presenters of the Assembly programme and shared his perspective on the theme, “Kindness is a virtue that holds the power to transform lives and societies. The saying ‘Kindness begets kindness’ reminds us that every act of kindness creates a ripple effect, inspiring others to do the same. It is only through nurturing happy children that we can hope to evolve into a kind and compassionate society. Kindness builds trust, strengthens bonds, and brings genuine happiness to both the giver and the receiver”.
“Let us all strive to make kindness a cornerstone of our lives through a simple smile, a helping hand, or a word of encouragement. We have the power to create a world where compassion thrives.
Let’s remember that every small act of kindness can create a brighter future for generations to come. Let us embrace it wholeheartedly and spread its light wherever we go”, he concluded.
