REASI: The IRP 1st Battalion on Thursday distributed uniform and stationery among 65 needy students belonging to different government schools of Zone Chinka.
Provided under Civic Action Programme (CAP) , the items included school bags, uniforms, school shoes and stationery items.
SSP IRP 1st Batallian-T.R Katoch was the Chief Guest at the programme organized at Government High School Bagli.
SP IRP 1st Battalion-Ravi Kumar Gupta, school heads, staff, members of PRIs and a large number of local people were also present on the occasion.
Katoch stressed upon the teachers to perform their duties with missionary zeal and dedication and impart quality education to the students. He also stressed on imbibing high moral values among the students so that they become disciplined and responsible citizens of the country.
Ravi Kumar Gupta assured every possible help from Police Department to the poor students in their pursuit for higher education and improvement of infrastructure in the Government schools.
