DODA: The IRP 5th Battalion of the J and K Police organised inter-school volleyball tournament under Civic Action Programme at battalion headquarters, Beoli in district Doda.
Earlier, the event was declared open by Commandant IRP 5th, Mohd Arif Rishu in the presence of Dy CO, SP Ranjeet Singh. Also present were Vipan Chandian (DySP) and Babu Ram AC 76 Bn CRPF.
The participating teams as those winner and runners up were given away sports kits by the Commandant IRP 5th.
The gesture of J&K Police in organising sports events and involving young men in constructive activities was appreciated by the locals.
