JAMMU: To instill confidence and to inculcate a fitness regime in the lifestyle of the officers and Jawans, the Indian Reserve Police (IRP) 10th Battalion (Headquarter Battalion) organised an impressive ‘Route March’ on Friday. About 250 officers inclduing Commandant IRP-10th Battalion and officials including GO’s, NGO’s and others, took part in drive for pollution free Bahu Fort Jammu.
The ‘March’ started from battalion Headquarters at DPL Jammu, and culminated back at Battalion Headquarters, covering a distance of approximately eight kilometers.
While addressing the officers and Jawans of the battalion, the Commandant stressed upon the Jawans to remain physically and mentally fit by regular exercises. Route march is a regular feature under the directions of ADGP Armed L. Mohanty and IGP IRP Jammu Zone Yoginder Koul to keep the troops in good health and in a high degree of alertness.
