IPL 2023 Auction:  Jammu boy Vivrant Sharma picked by SunRisers Hyderabad for 2.6 crore

Uncapped player Vivrant Sharma, an all-rounder for the Jammu & Kashmir team in the domestic circuit, has been bagged for Rs 2.6 crore by Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). The 23-year-old’s auction began with a base price of Rs 20 lakh, but gathered momentum as KKR and SRH placed competitive bids to acquire him.

Earlier,  talented left-hand batsman from Jammu,  Vivrant Sharma, after leading J&K as a skipper in Under-23 Col CK Naidu Trophy, made debut in J&K cricket team for Vijay Hazare Trophy 2021 (One-day tournament).

A student of JK Public School Kunjwani, All-rounder Vivrant Sharma, as batsman, has a credit of 550 runs with a ton, while 21 wickets as a right-arm leg spinner in his first class career.
