RAMBAN: Department of Youth Services and Sports organized district level inter–zonal tourney at District Police Lines Ramban.
Senior Superintendent of Police, Ramban, Randeep Kumar, was the Chief Guest and Additional Superintendent of Police Arun Gupta, was Guest of Honour on the occasion.
Randeep Kumar declared the tournament open and addressed the players laying stress on the importance of such events which provide students an opportunity in sports competition.
He further made them aware about the bad effects of drug addiction and asked the students to devote their heart, mind and soul towards games and study.
The tournament is being played in different disciplines including Kho- Kho, Kabbadi and Volleyball under-14 and 17 years for boys and girls between the six zones of district such as Ramban, Batote, Banihal, Gool, Khari and Ukhral zone.
