KATHUA: Government Middle School (GMS) Chandwan and GMS Chann Arorian won u/14 kabaddi and kho-kho titles respectively in the in the Inter-school Tournament of Zone Marheen being organised by Zonal Physical Education Officer (ZPEO) Marheen, Kailash Chander at Government High School, Rajbagh here on Monday.
The tournament is being organised under the supervision of District Youth Services and Sports Officer (DYSSO) Kathua Sunil Kumar and Headmaster of the host School Prem Lata.
Today’s matches were officiated by Yog Raj, Tulla Ram, Jia Lal, Sudershan Kumar, kuldeep Raj, Avishkar Badyal, Shashi Paul, Nand Kishore, Krishan Chand, Vijay Kumar Sandeepan, Ashok Kumar, Ajay Kumar.
In kabaddi under-14 final, GMS Chandwan defeated MS Garnari by 20 points. Similarly, GHS Chann Arorian beat Govt MS Garnari by 10 points three points and innings in kho-kho.
