JAMMU: Annual inter-school under-19 girls’ competitions in the disciplines of Kho-Kho and Kabaddi of Miran Sahib and R S Pura Zones, organised by Department of Youth Services and Sports, concluded with the holding of finals, here on Wednesday.
In the finals, Government Girls Higher Secondary School R S Pura defeated Government Girls Higher Secondary School Miran Sahib in Kabaddi final. Similarly, the Kho-Kho title went to Government Girls Higher Secondary School Miran Sahib, who outplayed their counterparts from Girls Higher Secondary R S Pura by a margin of 12 points in the final.
District Youth Services and Sports Officer Jammu, Sukh Dev Raj Sharma visited Girls High School Kotli Shahdulla and witnessed the girls finals. Among those present were Headmaster of HS Kotli Shahdulla, Darshan Lal, Chander Kanta Pandit (ZPEO RS Pura) and Poonam Kotwal (ZPEO Miran Sahib).
