JAMMU: Youth Talent Search, a forum of schools, organised an inter-school Folk Dance competition at JK Montessorie Senior Secondary School, Talab Tillo here on Saturday.
The inaugural function started with the lighting of the traditional lamp by Rajni Gupta, Director Academics JKMS.
Principal SD Tara Puri School, Neeru Puri and Vice Principal JKMS, Geeta Dixit were also present on the occasion.
Students from more than 10 schools of Jammu participated in the folk dance competition with enthusiasm. Students of class 7th participated in the competition.
Director Academics, Rajni Gupta was the Chief Guest and Smile and Vandana Gupta were the judges of the competition.
Students of different schools showed their talents with excellent performances.
Geeta Dixit and Neeru Puri declared the winners of the competition.
New Era Environmental School secured first position, SD Tara Puri School bagged second and Lawrence School got third position.
Rajni Gupta appreciated the efforts of the students and expressed his gratitude in organising the competition in order to reveal the latent talent of the students.
