JAMMU: Three days long inter school competition concluded at JK Montessorie British School in the school premises here today. The sports events during these days were organised to faster the spirit of sportsmanship among the students. The celebrations were held to encourage the little buds to show their talent in various activities.
Large number of schools participated in this competition and more than 200 students participated in this fest with great enthusiasm, interest and zeal from class nursery to class 10th.
Different types of sports activities like frog race, lemon race, balance race, sack race, three legged race, poetry recitation, debate competition, card making competition, Rangoli making competition were organised for the students.
Participants were judged on the basis of expression and pronunciation.
Director Academics Rajni Gupta addressed that the aim of the event was to encourage sports activities, create competitive spirit amongst the youth especially girls and build confidence and identify talent for representing state at National levels.
The winners of various events were honoured with medals trophies and certificates by the management of the school.

Class nursery (frog race): Anmol of Flower Kids first, Aryan Kumar of Co-operative School second and Kartavya Sharma of Flower Kids third.
Class LKG (Frog Race): Raj of SNS Vidya Mandir School first, Kanha Sharma of JK Little Milliennium second and Aradhya Nag of Flower Kids third.
Class UKG (Lemon race): Kritika of Child World Play Way School first, Ayush Saini of Cooperative School second and Pratham and Siratdeep of Flower Kids, joint third.
Class Ist (Balance race): Inderjeet Singh of Cooperative School first, Shiven Khajuria of JK Little Millenium second and Rudraksh Bakshi of Cooperative School third.
Class 2nd (sack race): Ist & IIIrd prize won by Uditi Dhar of JK Little Millenium first, Daksh of SNS Vidya Mandir School second and Adityaveer Singh of JK Little Millenium third.
Class IIIrd (3-legged race): Ist and IInd position won by
Meenakshi and Sadhana of DBN School first, Karan and Anshu Saini of DBN School second and Vansh Gupta and Mayank Kapoor of JK Montessorie third.
Ruhin Puri & Anna Bhagat (Class 4th) of JK Montessorie clinched first and second position respectively in poetry recitation competition while Vanshika (class 4th) of SNS Vidya Mandir School clinched third position.
Saksham Sharma and Sanjeevani Pandita (class 5th ) of JK Montessorie clinched first and second position in Poetry recitation competition respectively.
Junior Group Kritika Bindroo and Vanshika Kotwal clinched first and first position respectively in Debate competition while Ansh Sharma of Cooperative School clinched third position.
Senior Group: Mukul Sharma first, Divyansh Pandey and Gurpreet Kour, joint second and Aakash Koul of JK Montessorie third.
Rangoli competition: Co-operative School first, SNS Vidya Mandir second and JK Montessorie third.
Card making competition: Co-operative School first, JK Montessorie second and SNS Vidya Mandir third.
