As truly called, a speaker’s worst nightmare, ‘an extempore’ is a brain boggling situation to put your thoughts together and present it in a crisp manner. To imbibe a true spirit of learning and competition amongst students, an Inter House Extempore Competition for Classes IX to XI, was held at JK Public School, Kunjwani. Each participant was given a minute to speak on the topic. They were judged on the basis of fluency, content, confidence and overall presentation. The topics in the competition varied from current to social and abstract issues. From Class IX, Bhagat Singh House bagged the first position. From Class X, the first position was shared by Tagore and Bhagat Singh House. From Class XI, Tilak House stood first. Director, Brig. Sukhdev Singh and Principal SK Singh congratulated the winners. This competition was a great platform to develop the communication skills and confidence of students.
