JAMMU: An Inter-College poster making and slogan writing competition on the theme “Stigma and Discrimination Live and Let Live” was organised by Chenab College of Education, Kaluchak, here on Saturday.
Students from MIER College, KCS College, RK College, JK College, Kawa College of Education and Chenab College of Education participated in the competition and exhibited their talents in the cited Art/subject.
The performance of the students was judged by the members of the jury consisting of Vishal Mengi, Specialised in oil painting; Mahinder Kumar Wadhera Director of Centre Art Academic; and Kamaldeep Kour Principal of Chenab College of Education.
On the basis of their judgment, in slogan writing competition JK College of Education bagged first position while KCS College of Education got second and Chenab College of Education and RK College of Education jointly won third place.
MIER College of Education topped in poster making competition while JK College of Education and Chenab College of Education got second and third position respectively.
The prizes and certificates were given to the winners and the participants by the Chief Guests. Kavita Sambyal (Lecturer) presented vote of thanks.
