JAMMU: Institute of Management Sciences (IMS) conducted workshop designed and offered by Praveen Raina, the Microsoft Certified Trainer in North India, on latest technology of Microsoft Web Applications for the students of MCA.
Bhawani Salathia from Training and Placement Cell in his inaugural welcome address conveyed his gratitude to the visiting faculty and suggested multiple courses to work on live projects during project training and internship programmes with the industry masters – Microsoft.
Praveen Raina in his advice to the students asked them to be more focused on true industry ready software and advanced techniques being used in fast changing IT world. Skills and knowledge need to be acquired to understand the basic thumb rules and adapt to the professional learning style in order to get used to the technical requirements of the live projects.
It was a live demonstration on latest technology of Microsoft developing web applications using ASP.net MVC framework and a brief introduction of Cloud service Windows Azure of Microsoft and virtualisation.
The workshop was coordinated by Training and Placement Cell and the session was concluded with a vote of thanks by I.S Walia.
