Industrial sector gets impetus under BJP-PDP Govt: Randhawa

JAMMU: Listing the achievements of 100 days of present PDP-BJP Coalition Govt in J&K, BJP Industrial Cell Convenor Vikram Randhawa said that BJP-PDP Coalition Govt has introduce new work culture in Jammu and Kashmir particularly in Industrial sector. He however said that in 100 days of BJP-PDP Coalition Govt, J&K’s industrial sector got an impetus.
Talking to media persons here on Wednesday at party office, Randhawa highlighted the achievements and initiatives of State Govt to boost industrial sector which is also one of the potent tool in State’s developmental sector.
While counting the important decision and initiatives undertaken by Coalition Govt, he mentioned that earlier industrialists have to visit number of times to concerned quarters to get their work done but now Industrial and Commerce Minister stop this practice and give one time list of required documents to industrialists to submit which certainly lessen the problems being faced by them.
He added that with the initiative of Industrial Minister Chander Prakesh Ganga, VAT Refund worth of Rs 40 Cr which was earlier pending has being cleared before March 31, 2015.
Moreover, Randhawa said that constructive initiative has been taken by Industrial department in Handloom Cluster Development Project and the same is taken in Udhampur and Chenani and will be taken in Leh and Anantnag in coming time. ‘Its goodwill gesture of Industrial Minister that Minister has demanded from Centre Govt an amount of Rs 50 Cr for Silk Factory in Bemina’, he stated.
Highlighting an important issue of land allotment policy for Industrialists, BJP leader said that the minister has streamlined the Land Allotment Policy in favour of Industrialists who were running their industrial units from more than three decades on Govt allotted Land.
He also welcomed setting up of Monitoring Team for the proper functioning of JK Cement Factory in Samba.
