Induction programme held at YCET

JAMMU: An induction session for the students of B.E. Batch-2016 was conducted here at Yogananda College of Engineering and Technology (YCET) on Thursday. Vidhi S. Singh, Chairman, Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI) was the Chief Guest whereas P.K Nanda was the Resource Person.
B.R Verma, Chief Coordinator, YCET highlighted the significance of engineering disciplines and their relevance in the contemporary times which provides an ocean of opportunities to students for learning and professional growth.
P.K Nanda, former Executive Engineer and presently Consultant GVR Infra Project, a Hyderabad based company looks after an artificial lake project, stressed on filling the technology space through innovation. He emphasised on 10-powerful words which every individual should follow to achieve the goal.
Vidhi S. Singh gave four Mantras to the new entrants viz. hardwork, perseveration, patience and balanced life. He expected them to be disciplined and work hard to achieve overall growth in order to be an accomplished individual.
A memento was presented to P.K Nanda by the chairman. The programme was coordinated by Rajnish Magotra and Rhea Mahajan, CODs and vote of thanks was presented by the former.
