JAMMU: BJP senior leader and State Working Committee Member Indu Bhushan Sharma, a resident of Gandhi Nagar, Jammu, has been nominated as a Non-Official Member of All India Handloom Board.
An official communication from the Union Ministry of Textiles, addressed to Indu Bhushan Sharma, said that under Gazette Notification No. 47 of 2016, All India Handloom Board has been constituted and he stands included as Non-Official Member. This recently reconstituted board has Union Minister of State, Textile, Santosh Kumar Gangwar as its Chairman and Non-Official Members belonging to different states have got place in this board.
Indu Bhushan Sharma, while expressing gratitude to the Union Textile Ministry for giving him a chance to work as Non-Official Member of All India Handloom Board, said that there is very vast scope of further developing and promoting the handloom in Jammu and Kashmir. He assured to work wholeheartedly to come up to the expectations of the Union Textile Ministry and the people who have always supported him to serve the society during last so many years.
