IndoUS ties to only prosper whatever be the poll result: Verma

New Delhi: US Ambassador to India Richard Verma today said that whatever be the election results, Indo-US ties will only grow and prosper in the years to come as verdict from various US States show Donald Trump was on the cusp of creating history by clinching the US presidency.

Addressing the media here, Verma also said, “We are passing on the torch to the next administration in a very good shape.”

Ties are on steep ascendancy and relation with India is a non-partisan subject in the US, he added.

“Part of the job of the next President is to bring the country together,” Verma said.
