India has won the world cup T20 this time and has defeated South Africa by 7 runs and made a score of 176 runs against the South African teams 169.Indian team has won the T20 world cup after the long wait of 13 years as it has won the T20 world cup as far back as in 2013.Indian teams win of the T20 world cup is extra-ordinary ,epoch-making and historical .Prime minister Narendra Modi while congratulating the Indian team over its magnificent victory has commented that this win is no less than extra-ordinary .The stature ,status and prestige of Indian team has got an upward trend due to its historical win against South Arica and thus Indian team has made and created history and it is a matter of pride not only for the Indian team but for the whole India as well .This historical win of T20 world cup is a matter of pride and a momentous moment for more than 140 crore Indians.
The Indian cricket team has shown its mettle and strength by lifting the T20 world cup this time after a pause of 13 long year’s .Indian team deserves greatest commendation ,congratulation and pat at its back for getting the world cup .Thus president Drapudi Murmu ,Prime minister Modi ,Defense minister Rajnath Singh ,home minister Amit Shah ,leader of opposition and congress leader Rahul Gandhi ,UP CM Yogi and others have congratulated the Indian team for its historical win of world cup T20.Indian team has got appreciation and applause from all over the cricket world .This historical feat has been celebrated in India by one and all especially by cricket fans .This win of the Indian team is no ordinary thing but it is path-breaking and momentous and it has brought laurels and appreciation to Indian team .President Droupadi Marmu hails India’s T20 world cup victory as extraordinary .President and other political leaders congratulate the Indian Cricket Team on their historic T20 world cup win ,ending an 13 -year wait for a global trophy. ,Congratulatory greetings and messages continued to pour in for the Indian Cricket Team as it led the country to a triumphant win in the T20 world cup on Saturday June 29,2024.Significantly.this win ended India’s long hiatus with the world cup title ,clinching the global trophy after an 13 year wait .Meanwhile ,it is pertinent to mention that post India’s gigantic win ,political leaders across the spectrum congratulated the Men in Blue for clinching the world cup Champions 2024 title for the country .
Congratulating the Indian Cricket Team ,president Murmu described it as an ‘extraordinary victory. ‘She said ,”My heartiest congratulations to Team India for winning the T20 World cup .With a never -say die spirit ,the team sailed through difficult situations and demonstrated outstanding skills throughout the tournament .It was an extraordinary victory in the final match .Well done ,Team India! The spectacular Men in Blue have made our country proud.” India’s men’s cricket team won a nail-biter final game against South Africa in the Twenty 20 world cup match on Saturday ,putting an end to the country’s 13 year drought in the global cricket arena..Both India and South Africa were undefeated going into Saturday’s match in Barbados .South Africa seemed like it had a chance of winning the game ,but India thwarted the team’s attempt to exceed India’s 176 runs .This was India’s second T20 world cup win ,the team won the inaugural T20 world cup in 2007 .It was also India’s first world cup win in 13 years in any type of cricket ,after a series of heartbreaking close final matches over last 12 months.” Guys understand when the pressure is on what needs to be done,’ ‘said Rohit Sharma ,India’s team captain. ”Today was a perfect example ,we stuck together with backs to the wall .We wanted this really bad -very proud of the bunch of boys and the management .Cricket is the world’s second most popular sport but many Americans are unfamiliar.T20 is an abbreviated form of the gam4e .In T20 match ,each team has 20 o9vers.In each over ,a bowler similar to a pitcher from the opposing team throws six balls for the batsman similar to batter to hit .Batsmen make runs each time they hit a ball ,which are counted as points for the team .There are two batsmen playing in each over. ”To get a run ,the easiest or probably the hardest way to do it is to whack the ball as hard as you can so that it crosses the boundary line ,which is the end of the field,” NPR’s Mumbai ,India ,producer Onmkar Khandekar told MORNING Edition .If you can do that ,then you start running between what they call the pitch .And the more you run ,the more runs you get.”
In fact Virat Kohali ,one of the team’s top batters ,played a key role in India’s eventual win over South Africa. The Indian team was in early trouble after deciding to bat first -they had only 34 runs in the first five over’s .This means that within the first quarter of India’s time batting ,the team had averaged approximately only one run per ball. But Kohali was able to bring that average up .When India was doing batting ,the score was 176-7 ,meaning that they had made 176 runs with 120 balls ,and seven had gotten out .Kohali announced at the end of the game that this would be his last time playing in T20 World Cup .Kohali pulled off an amazing performance in his final game ,scoring what’s known as a half-century in cricket ,which is when a batter scores 50 runs in the time his team was batting .When South Africa went up to bat ,the team looked strong ,they made 147 runs in 15 over’s in part thanks to Heinrich Klaasen .But once he was out ,the team started to falter. Marco Jensen scored only two runs before Indian bowler Jasprit Bumrah threw a ball that resulted in an out .In short Indian team created a history when it won the T20 world cup and defeated South African team.
