New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Wednesday said that India is emerging as a global winner in the field of drone technology.
“Under the leadership of Yashasvi Narendra Modi, the central government is actively working in the drone sector, and the power of drones will play a crucial role in the Prime Minister’s vision of developed India”, Chugh said in his keynote address at the International Innovation Conclave, organized by PHD Chambers and AITMCS Ventures in Delhi.
The stalwarts of the global drone industry were present in the Conclave.
Chugh said that in the coming times, drones will contribute 2 per cent to India’s GDP and will create new opportunities for 5 lakh jobs.
Former Army Chief Dalbir Sihag, CEO of NSDC Ved Muni Tiwari, Deepak Singhal, Ranjit Mehta, and Chairman of AITMCS Deep Sihag were also present at the event.
