Increasing drug menace matter of concern: Vikram

STATE TIMES NEWS
JAMMU: PDP youth leader Vikram Singh Bhadwal on Thursday expressed concern over ever increasing drug menace especially among the youngsters.
Chairing a meeting of PDP Youth Wing here, Vikram appealed to IGP Jammu and Deputy Commissioner Jammu to constitute a team to check the youths who bunk schools and spend hours in tea-stalls and purchase cigarettes and intoxicating drugs from unscrupulous suppliers who are busy in selling these drugs to satiate their vested interests.
Vikram alleged that despite ban on sale of loose cigarettes shop-keepers are selling these without any fear. “Even white paper which is used for consumption of narcotic drugs is easily available in some shops in Jammu city”, he pointed out.
Vinod Mahajan appealed to administration to constitute a team in civil dress and check the menace especially in tea-stalls, shops, parks and play grounds and take strict action against perpetuators of drug menace.
Gourav Sharma, Parth Sharma, Gokul Sharma and others were also present.
