JAMMU: Senior PDP leader and Member Legislative Council, Vikramaditya Singh visited Rajput Sabha here on Wednesday.
During his visit, the MLC was apprised of the missionary activities, programmes and ongoing general plans of the Rajput Sabha Jammu.
Giving a warm welcome to Vikramaditya Singh, Thakur Narayan Singh Jamwal gave a description of Sabha’s programmes in hand for the upliftment of Rajput community.
Sabha members including Justice (Retd) Paviter Singh, Satpal Singh Charak and Shashi Khajuria were also present.
Vikramaditya impressed upon the members of Sabha not to remain confined for the betterment, upliftment and welfare of Rajput Community only but to bring whole Duggar Desh into its ambit, which is the need of the time and people’s demand.
He also appealed to widen the spectrum of Sabha to reach out to far flung areas including Poonch, Rajouri, Udhampur, Doda, Samba and Kathua for developmental activities and the people there should also come to know about the grandee of the Rajput Sabha. Vikramaditya Singh after going through the programmes and policies of the Sabha also expressed astonishment over the fact that the Sabha activities have not being given a due place and publicity through media coverage which otherwise would have added more to its name and fame.
