Dear Editor,
The future of peace and stability in Kashmir is bleak. The separatist forces of J and K are attacking the sovereignty of the Indian state. There is an open defiance of the Constitution by disgruntled Kashmiri youth. The frenzied mobs are even attacking security personnel and Pakistani flags are being unfurled.
The local political parties seem to be hand-in-glove with the separatist forces. They are involved in radicalising the youth and fomenting hatred and revenge. Instead of targeting the youth, the government must imprison separatist leaders under charges of sedition and rebellion.
There must be a total crackdown on all separatist forces working in the valley. A local minority section of radicalised individuals cannot be allowed to hold the state for ransom.
