KATHUA: Assistant Director, CAPD T.P Singh convened a meeting with LPG Gas agencies of Kathua District here at DC office complex.
The purpose of the meeting was to review the progress made under Pahal scheme which has been launched across the country from 1st January.
T.P Singh briefed the agencies about the new scheme Pahal (DBTL) that has been launched recently and under which subsidy of the domestic LPG cylinder will be directly deposited in bank account of the LPG consumer. He said the customers who got their Aadhar number or bank account linked with LPG connection will immediately receive Rs 568 in their respective bank accounts in advance.
On joining the scheme, consumer will get the subsidy in their linked bank account. Assistant Director informed that the consumer can also register their mobile numbers with LPG distributors so that they can avail the booking facility through SMS adding consumer can also avail help from web site www.my.lpg.in and for any further queries can directly contact the concerned Tehsil Supply Officer.
