JAMMU: J&K State Pensioners Association (JKSPA) sought immediate implementation of Seventh Central Pay Commission’s recommendations on Central pattern and release due installment of D.A from July 2016 in respect of state employees and pensioners expeditiously.
JKSPA President, Krishan Singh said that due to anti-people and anti-working class polices of successive Central and State Governments the prices of essential commodities are touching new heights day by day due to which not only the pensioners but even the State employees are also facing acute financial hardships for quite a long time.
The association demanded enhancement of medical allowance from Rs 300 to 1000, restoration of commuted pension after 12 years instead of 15 years.
