Illegal arms supplier gang unearthed, 2 held

Muzaffarnagar: Police today claimed to have unearthed a gang of illegal arms suppliers with the arrest of two men from the district.

A total of eight guns and nine cartridges were recovered from their possession, SSP Deepak Kumar said.

Two members of the gang, Asif and Irfan, were arrested yesterday, he said, adding the gang was involved in shipping illegal arms in exchange for money.
