IIM Jammu concludes Fourth Batch of Capacity Building Program

JAMMU: The valedictory ceremony of the Capacity Building Program Fourth Batch at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Jammu marked the culmination of an enriching journey for its participants. The event, held at the institute’s Jagti Campus at Bharat Classroom, was a momentous occasion attended by faculty members, distinguished guests, and participants alike.
Professor B.S. Sahay, the Director of IIM Jammu, graced the ceremony with his esteemed presence, along with other notable figures including Prof. Jabir Ali, Dean Academics, Dr. Mahesh Gadekar, Chairperson of the Centre for Small Business Development, and Naren Karunakaran, Consultant at the Centre for Diversity Cell and Inclusion.
Their leadership and guidance were pivotal in shaping the program and ensuring its effectiveness in nurturing talent and fostering professional growth.
Throughout the program, participants were immersed in a comprehensive curriculum designed to enhance their skills and knowledge across various domains relevant to today’s dynamic business environment. The ceremony also shed light on the Project of Transforming Informal Businesses through SBDUs under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India. This initiative aims to strengthen institutions to deliver quality entrepreneurship development initiatives across identified locations, including the UTs of Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh. Dr. Mahesh Gadekar, Chairperson of the Centre for Small Business Development, IIM Jammu, proposed the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all involved in making the program a success.
