JAMMU: The J and K unit of Indian Federation of Common Service Centre (IFCSC) expressed concern over the non-availability of services to CSC commonly known as Khidmat Centre in the State.
A meeting of State level office bearers of IFCSC was hled under its National President, Aman Kalsotra here on Thursday.
Apart from this representatives of different Centre revealed that due to non availability of services to Khidmat Centre project initiated by Union Government. In absence of availability of services owners of these centers facing hardship to even pay the rent, electricity bills and loan installments of their centres apart from this under financial inclusion program the attached bank branches are also behaving with these entrepreneurs in a steeply manner while many VLE’s still waiting too for inclusion as business correspondent of banks as per government announcement.
“We are running our Common Services Centre without any income from last more than six year and meet expenditure of these centres from our own pockets mere on the hollow promises of bright career made by the SCA at the time of interview. If still we stick to this project only to promote e-governance for country,” they added.
Kalsotra revealed that few days back IFCSC met Deputy Chief Minister, Dr. Nirmal Singh and apprised him about the problems being faced by them.
Kalsotra said Dr. Nirmal Singh assured the members that he will take this matter with the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi and put the demand of VLE’s, ULE’s regularisation under private public partnership basis.
