If not committed liquor scam, why Kejriwal ignores ED summons? asks Chugh

STATE TIMES NEWS

CHANDIGARH: Bharatiya Janata Party’s National General Secretary Tarun Chugh on Friday said that Arvind Kejriwal has come to know that due to the black game of corruption played in the liquor scam, it is certain that he will go to jail.
“Like every time, this time too Kejriwal is avoiding ED inquiry by making an excuse”, he said in a statement.
Chugh said that the government of Yashasvi Prime Minister Narendra Modi is synonymous with honesty. And in the past ten years, a new example of honest government has been set. Modi government has worked under the policy of zero tolerance on corruption and has ensured action against those involved in scams and corrupt practices, he added.
Chugh sarcastically said that Arvind Kejriwal should become the chief guest of the Excellence in Corruption Award show and should be given coaching on how scams are carried out.
Taking a dig at Kejriwal, Chugh said that if anyone is synonymous with anarchy, who has anarchy in his DNA, someone who is corrupt and an expert in commission-seeking, then it is Arvind Kejriwal. By raising questions on the very summons of ED, they are implementing ‘Ultaa Chor Kotwal Ko Dante’. If Kejriwal has not committed the liquor scam, then why doesn’t he go to the court? Why are they running away from investigation? If Kejriwal feels that the investigating agency is not right then why doesn’t he go to the court and present all his evidence and arguments, he asked.
