ICSI donates Rs 20 lakh for flood affected

NEW DELHI: Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) donated Rs. 20 lakh for providing relief to flood affected populace of Jammu and Kashmir.
A delegation of ICSI on Saturday met Arun Jaitley, Union Minister for Finance and Corporate Affairs and handed over a cheque of Rs.20 lakh donated by ICSI Employees, Council members, Managing Committee members of its Regional Councils and Chapters as contribution towards the Prime Minister’s National Relief Fund (PMNRF) in the aid of flood victims of Jammu and Kashmir.
Expressing solidarity with the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their hour of distress, R Sridharan, President ICSI informed that in the wake of distressing situations arising due to the natural calamity, the Institute waived the Examination Fee for students hailing from Kashmir Valley as well as special arrangements were made for them for submission of Examination Form for December, 2014 Session.
