JAMMU: Famous Hudh Mata Trisandhaya Yatra is scheduled to start from 6th July in remote Dachan mountainous belt of Kishtwar district.
The Yatra schedule has been issued by the Managing Committee of Hudh Mata Trisandhya Yatra (Dachan), Kishtwar which organises the pilgrimage every year.
As per the schedule, Yatris from Kishtwar and outside the state shall proceed towards village Sounder- the base camp of the Yatra-on 6th July from Dharalan Nagri, Kathua.
The Yatra shall proceed towards Gouri Shanker Mandir, Sarkoot Kishtwar on July 7 from Geeta Bhawan Jammu.
On July 8 after night haltage, Yatra shall proceed towards radha Krishan Mandir Soumder Dachhan and on July 12 the Yatra shall reach Hudh mata Darbar.
On the same day the yatris shall have a pious bath in Braham Sarovar and the holy waters of Trisindhaya Nadi (which flows from the top of a hill near famous Brahma peak thrice a day and starts drying from down level towards upper level). A hawan shall be performed for the well being of the humanity and peace in the state and country.
After performing Darshan of Hudh Mata and offering Puran Ahuti, the yatris shall start their back journey and will reach at Kishtwar on July 14. The registration of the Yatris shall be made in Geeta Bhawan Parade Jammu with from 22nd June to 3rd July between 4:00 to 8:00 PM.
Committee members also requested Trade Associations, Hindu Religious Bodies and Sant and Mahatamas to weleome the Shobha Yatra within their respective areas/bazaars on 6th July, 2016, 4:00 PM onwards.
