HSS protests against Geelani’s statement

JAMMU: Scores of activists of Hindustan Shiv Sena (HSS) staged a protest against the separatist leader Syed Ali Shah Geelani for his remark on curtailment of Amarnath Yatra.

Led by President of Hindustan Shiv Sena, Dimpy Kohli, the activists assembled at Indira Chowk and burned the effigy of separatist leader.

Talking to media persons, Kohli said that the Union Government headed by Narendra Modi should take strong cognizance of Geelani’s statement and booked him under Public Safety Act like Masarat Alam. He added that Geelani should be lodged behind the bars. He appealed to the NDA Government to ensure smooth conduct of Amarnath Yatra this year.

Vikrant Kapoor, Rajan Gupta, Vinay Gupta, Dinesh Mahajan and Rohit Singh Bhau also joined the protest.
