BARI BRAHMANA: The students of Humanity Public School, Bassi Kalan, won under-14 and under-17 Kho-Kho (Girls) titles beating Government High School (GHS) Birpur and GHS Khada-Madana respectively at the recently concluded inter-school tournaments of zone Purmandal.
The tournament was organized by the Department of Youth Services and Sports, District Samba.
The team comprising of Deepshikha, Priya, Neha, Rumani, Shivani Manhas, Shreya, Babita, Preeti and Shriya of HPS participated in under–17yrs Kho-Kho defeated GHS Khada-Madana to clinch the title.
The HPS team of under-14 Kho-kho defeated GHS Birpur to win the title. The players were Yasmeen, Chetna, Sangeeta, Shivani Bhagat, Neha, Aarushi, Roshni, Mansi, Tania and Shaidu Bibi.
The students of the school who participated in this tournament were received in the school premises by Gaurav Charak (Principal), Ajay Sharma (Phy.Instructor), Mahan Singh (PTI) and Surekha (PTI) along with other staff members.
