JAMMU: Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Ltd (HPCL) conducted LPG Safety Clinic here on Saturday in order to give awareness to ladies, housewives and other general public about the proper and safe usage of Liquid Petroleum Gas and its equipments. Anees J. Qari, Deputy Sales Manager, Hindustan Petroleum explained various precautionary measures to be followed in order to ensure safety and make optimum utilisation of the LPG. Observing precautions was essential for avoiding accidents and loss of life or property due to ignorance about handling of LPG equipments, before, during and after its use for cooking and other purposes, he said
Ajay Singh, Senior Regional Manager, LPG Regional Office (J&K) Hindustan Petroleum Corporation also spoke on the occasion and thanked Ravi Nath Bros. and its Partner Ravi Braroo for taking keen initiative in conducting the camp. He expressed the resolve to conduct more such camps in future in various areas of the State in order to ensure an accident free LPG environment.
