UDHAMPUR: A body of housewife was found under mysterious circumstances here on Thursday. Sources disclosed that mark of injures over her neck revealed probably an act of suicide by strangulation. It was further disclosed that victim visited her maternal house at Chak Morh in Udhampur. The cause behind this act could not be ascertained. Sources informed that victim was reeling under mental depression for the last couple of days.
However, family members shifted her to District Hospital Udhampur where doctors declared her brought dead. Police handed over the body after conducting the autopsy and registered case for investigation.
The housewife was identified as Meenakshi Devi, wife of Kewal Kishore, resident of Ramnagar.
