UDHAMPUR: A housewife attempted suicide by consuming poisonous substance in her house last night here in Udhampur.
According to a report, a housewife identified as Satya Devi wife of Mir Chand resident of village Ranegi in Chenani took some poisonous substance in her house to end her life. On seeing her lying unconscious, her family members shifted her to Sub District Hospital Chenani from she was further refered to District Hospital Udhampur being critical. Doctors washed her stomach and till filing last report her condition was stated to be stable. Chenani Police has registered a case and launched the investigation.
