KISHTWAR: A mysterious fire has gutted a residential house at village Horna of Palmar area in district Kishtwar on Tuesday.
According to reports, fire broke out in a residential house of Jeet Kumar son of Nand Lal resident of village Horna, Palmar Kishtwar, on Tuesday morning at about 6:00 AM, in which household items kept in the room got totally damaged as fire engulfed whole house within no time. After hectic efforts, the fire was brought under control but till then the house was turned into ashes.
No injury or casualty has been reported in the incident, while the exact loss couldn’t be ascertained yet. Police has registered a case under relevant sections at Police Station Palmar and started investigation.
Meanwhile locals demanded relief to the owner as soon as possible, besides establishment of Fire Station at Palmar.
