JAMMU: Hockey Jammu and Kashmir on Friday named 21-member squad, including three officials, for the upcoming Seventh Hockey India Sub-junior National Women’s Championship to be held at Ramanathapuram in Tamil Nadu from 5th to 16th January.
Accompanied by retired SAI Hockey Coach, Sham Lal Sharma of Poonch as Manager and another SAI Hockey Coach, Gurmeet Kour as Coach, the team shall depart for the venue tomorrow, a handout issued by the association here on Friday informed.
Placed in group-A, J and K shall be playing against Assam, Gujarat, Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Coorg hockey teams in the league round.
